Llangefni Over the centuries the town has held an important role as a market town and the clock at square has some important architectural feature which testify to this - namely the town clock, the market hall and the Bull Inn which all date from the eighteenth century. In recent years the town has become an important educational centre with the establishment of the Coleg Menai site and the construction of Oriel Ynys Mon which highlights the cultural heritage of the island as well as housing the world famous Tunnicliffe collection. Llangefni is a pleasant and convenient base for the exploration of the rest of the island.
