Wales is a small Western European country, and part of the UK.

Wales has a population of about 3 million. It is a bi-lingual country. Everyone in Wales speaks English, but about 20% of the population speak the native Welsh as their first language.

Wales is located to the west of England, and to the east of Ireland. It is one of six Celtic nations, the others being Scotland, Ireland, Man, Cornwall and Britainy.

The Welsh language is one of the oldest European languages, descended from the original Brythoneg language of Britain.
