Self-Catering Accommodation is offered on a working family farm with opportunities to see the farm animals and even feed the chickens.

This Welsh speaking family look forward to welcoming you onto their farm that is part of a farm stewardship scheme.

The cottages are conveniently situated between Machynlleth and Aberdovey, close to sea and mountains and the many attractions located in the area including the village of Pennal itself and its rich historical background.

The accommodation is offered in three well equipped cottages, regularly inspected and garded by the Welsh Tourist Board. Both offer 'off theroad parking'.

On your arrival you will be greeted with a tea tray with homemade cake, and the beds all made up for you.

KEEPERS COTTAGE (BWTHYN Y CIPAR)

Sleeps 4 (plus cot if requested)

A delightful mid-eighteenth century cottage furnished and decorated in country style with an open fireplace and beamed ceiling providing a warm cosy atmosphere.

The spacious lounge/dining room benefits from antique furniture, a colour TV and video.

The well eqipped kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, electric cooker, microwave and is characterised by the old brick bread oven discovered while renovating. Through the kitchen you can enter a small, enclosed patio area with garden furniture.

The large bathroom is located downstairs with a bath and shower unit. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms-one double and one twin, with beamed sloping ceilings, one leading into the other. The cottage is heated by electric convector heaters.

STABLE COTTAGE (YSTABL)

A cottage recently converted from traditional stone farm building, tastefully furnished and decorated to complement the character of the building.

Stable Cottage has oil Central Heating (included in the price).

The lounge/dining room features some antique farm implements, colour TV and video. The fitted kitchen is fully equipped including electric cooker. fridge, microwave and dishwasher. There are 3 bedrooms. Both upstairs bedrooms have beamed ceilings with seperate bathroom. Bedroom 1 has one double and one single bed; Bedroom 2 has two single beds.

The en-suite double bedroom is located downstairs and is suitable for a disabled person.

Electricity used is payable by a £1 slot meter. Pets-as we have our own farm animals we very much regret we cannot accept pets. An outbuilding has been converted to a laundry and games room with a pool table.
