Wildlife can be seen in abundance in the Talyllyn valley and the nearby Dysynni Valley, where the spectacular Craig y Deryn or Bird Rock attracts cormorants and gulls. Cader Idris itself towers above the valley and there are ample opportunities for hill walking.
