Ardudwy megalithic tomb
This monument which was excavated in the 1950's has been reconstructed
to show its multi period development as a tomb. First a small
chamber with an imposing tilted capstone was surrounded in a small
roughly oval mound with an east facing forecourt. After a short
interval this structure was incorporated into a massive stone
built mound approximately 30m in length with a new megalithic
chamber built at its eastern end.
